first race of the ufolep nouvelle aquitaine 2025 championship

Last weekend saw the first round of the 2025 championship for Lara and Aaron in Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge (17). Sixty-seven drivers attended, despite the uninviting weekend, including thirty children (30), a record.

Aaron (MINI category) made an impression by finishing 3rd out of 11 in his very first race. “It’s the best day of my life!” he told us after receiving his cup. A hard-fought final with a victory for Lyam CLERC, neck and neck with Noé LABRUE in second. Third and setting the fastest time in this final, Aaron FELIX finished in the wake of the two leaders.

Lara (YOUNG category) fought with determination. Starting 18th in the pre-final, she finished P9. In the final, starting P9 out of 19, she brilliantly gained 2 places from the first turn before being the victim of a collision. Starting last, she climbed back to P16, achieving the 5th fastest time.
