Lara diligently applied the engineers’ advice and competed in her first final of the season, starting 30th out of 36 drivers. She made a very good start, gaining three positions in the first corner. Despite a collision ahead of her, which she couldn’t avoid and which resulted in a five-second penalty, she maintained her pace and continued her race. She finished 31st. Key takeaways: her consistent improvement and her ability to remain focused in unpredictable situations.
